I love twitter more than facebook. I love reading what people have to say, whether its famous celebrities or my friends and family, im always eager to hear what people say in just 140 words. But i always thought it would be good to find a twitter like website where you get to hear what ethiopians are saying. I wanted to hear what people thought about the weather in Addis Ababa, or their trip to Debre Zeit, or how their weekend in Awassa was, the food they enjoyed in Zola Restaurant, and stuff like that.
Anyways, i just found a twitter like website for Ethiopians with a weird and funny name.Shukshukta.com is the name of the website and it allows people to do what they basically do on the real twitter. It's got groups and other useful features but the look can use a little improvement. The functionality is good and i believe at the time of writing, there are around 1300 users. It's not very active like twitter but still there are groups such as 'boyfriend of girlfriend' and other nice groups people might be interested in. So head on to www.shukshukta.com and tell me what you think.
